Our third game at this month’s meeting of the DWG featured this South African Border War clash from 1988 using Cold War Commander.

If you would like to see how the game played out then just follow the link to the DWG Club Blog.

    Thanks for your comments chaps.

JF – I haven’t got a clue what a ‘Ystervark’ is, I hope it’s not catching! I just post the report and take the pictures!

Chris – Thanks for the feedback, very much appreciated. I spend a bit of time keeping the club blog up to date and I always hope we create an interesting and entertaining window on what we get up to so its great to read your comment.

    Cheers

It’s the armoured AA vehicle in the foreground of your first picture ๐Ÿ™‚

It takes quite a bit of doing, but you have to convert them from Peter Pig’s ‘Bulldog’ APC.ย  Until now I thought I was the only one daft enough.

Ah ha, thank you. I’m now a little more up to speed with late 80’s South African kit.

Well, like you, we have some passionate Wargamers in the club who like to model the right stuff for their games, which speaking as one of those daft enough to do this kind of stuff I really get.
