    Hi guys

I thought I’d post some pictures of my DBA armies. First up is a Minoan army early Biblical times and the figures are 15mm by Chariot Miniatures. I don’t know much about this period but I did visit Crete for a holiday so a Minoan army seemed like a good choice. Lots of chariots (Heavy and Light options) and Pike so reasonably good.

    General

    Pike

    Chariots

    Auxilia

    Skirmishers

Also here is the baggage element I started on, which is meant to be a kind of Minoan Temple.

    Next some Samurai and Vikings

    Very nice.

If you can manage some “horns of consecration” for the temple roof, it’d be good.

Here’s my Minoan temple almost ready for painting. I just need to fill some more around the edge where the walls (blue foam) meets the top (plasticard). I used some Tamiya putty but it started to melt the foam so I switched to caulk. Very pleased with the temple and it should look awesome!

Very good looking army and I love what you’re doing with the temple.

I’m slowly ticking off some projects. This is a Minoan temple that I have finished for my 15mm DBA army and it has a little bit of battle damage. I”m very pleased with the finished model and its roughly based on some buildings at Knossos.

The only thing I stuffed up was I measured the height of the box where my army is stored to make sure this would fit, but somewhere during construction I forgot that and now it doesn’t fit in the box!
    Cheers

Wow that temple came out really nice!

I may try and recreate that in 6mm when I get around to my greek fantasy project again.

Excellent work scratch-building that Minoan temple. It deserves its own storage/carrying case. Although, really, it should be on display when it’s not in use.

You'll shoot your eye out, kid!

    “battle damage”?

Not hardly. That’s earthquake damage caused when Po-se-da-o (Poseidon) the Earth Shaker was displeased.

Looking at your excellent model, I can’t see that he had *anything* to be displeased with.

Great looking army, and that temple baggage element is divine (no pun intended)!
