Another batch of figures was finished this week, in between viewing a wedding venue and a new house, I didn’t get much done. Eight figures in 15mm is the most I could muster, unfortunately. However, there’s some photos on the blog:

The minis in this and your last post look so good, not to mention the terrain. Damn you for tempting me into WWI when I have lead-piles of Ancients, Dark Ages, Medievals, WWII, Cold War and Ultramoderns to finish first! The siren-song of your most recent project has been very hard to resist and I find myself, in unguarded moments, looking at PP, Battlefront and Blue Moon miniatures longingly. You may be enjoying yourself but it’s pure torture for me! Fortunately, I seem to be a mini-masochist, otherwise I might get quite upset!

Cheers on a job well done and for the love of God, please stay away from the Franco-Prussiam War and the ACW or I’m done for!

    Rod,

Thanks for that, your replies always make me laugh. The terrain came from Early War Miniatures in their trench range. I think I’ll be buying some more in the future as it’s so nice. Personally, I have not seen anything I like with the Battlefront WW1 ranges, QRF have some lovely bits and pieces though. Not that I’m trying to feed your misery… My troubles are similar to you though, out of camera shot is the unpainted French II Corps for 1815 in 6mm looking at me whenever I paint WW1 figures. I feel their tiny eyes looking at me, saying ‘why not us?’

You’ll b glad to hear that I have very little interest in the ACW. I do have some bad news, the Franco-Prussian war has been mentioned a few times by one of my gaming buddies… So you never know.

Heh, 18 months later and still making an impression. Thanks Darryl, that’s very much appreciated.

Thanks D, I’m glad to inspire you. The Peter Pig ranges are definitely worth seeking out for their 15mm stuff.
