I have the Hell Dorado mounted Don Quixote figure, and want to add him to my historical Conquistador army. The horse that comes with the figure is quite fantastic, with chains, spikey bits and a lion’s tail (!). I can’t use him, I need to replace him with one more plausible. The good Don is a long, skinny fellow, and his steam Rosinante is a tall hunk of lead. Where can I get a big 28mm medieval/renaissance warhorse for him to sit on? A Foundry size steed would probably fit. I’m in the US and would prefer to order domestically. Thanks.
You'll shoot your eye out, kid!
Would any GW horses work?
Not played their stuff in yonks, but back in the day some of their Empire stuff may have worked?
EDIT: Checking the manufacturers listing showed these:

Not warhorses but very pretty.
Thanks for that thought Mike. There’s a GW store actually in my neighborhood. I’ll bop on over and checkitout.
The Siberia animals are very handsome. I’ll have a look through their site, but that’s a long way to post a package.
