Over the weekend, I had opportunity to play three small 15mm skirmishes in Afghanistan, introducing the hobby to a new gamer. I’ve posted a little discussion of the games and some photos on my blog:

Many firsts for me on this day, first time playing the US war in Afghanistan, first time using my 15mm Humvees in a game, and my first time losing three battles to a newbie in one day.
Thanks for looking,

Wow, love that table !!!!!!! Thanks for the AAR as well.
Irishserb:
So you got some down-time from work to finally play some games. Good on ya! Looking so good! Screw losing or winning. You have created immortal memories for the newbie and yourself. The table looks smashing. Your HUMMWV’s look great! A good report too. Thanks for posting and sharing this.
Cheers and good gaming.
Rod Robertson.
Great looking table and great AAR.
Good read, and good to have new blood!
I played an A-stan game at a Con with a bud who is a veteran of a couple of deployments there, and one of the first things he asked was “Ok, so how do I call in the Apaches…” much to the chagrin of the GM!
