28mm 20th Century Civilians/Refugees released in the Home Front range.
Sculpted by Mark Fuller.
Assorted refugees carrying baggage and saloon car.
Carts with refugees and baggage.
Nice civilians, who could also be used for other purposes as well (as waiting for a train, etc.)
Refugees are a difficult subject indeed but these figures are well thought. This car could be my grand parent’s car, they were not technically refugees but they had to follow the wave in 1940 (my grandfather was a civilian radio working for airports and he was ordered to move south with the events). My Mum was 8, she remembers the German soldiers smiling on their tanks when they finally bypassed them on the big bridge at Bordeaux… (I did show tank pictures to her, the tanks probably were Panzer II as she still remembers seeing well the teeth of the smiling driver inside too).
