Alien races suitable for use as hired guns, adventurers or space smugglers with the odd Terran too.
These are great! I imagine they go well with some other ranges in a similar style (Rogue Stars, Antediluvian, and probably a few more that slip my mind). Taken all together, it’s an excellent basis for an adventure-oriented sci-fi skirmish project.
I especially like the robot that looks a bit like a Geth. It’s not multi-part and posable by any chance? Would be nice to have a squad of them in different poses.
Thanks glad you like them. They should mix in well with the ranges you mention above and also will work with our Alien federation range too.
The robot is not multi-part but you may be able to tweak the arms positions slightly by gently bending them. Not sure if you would get enough variation for a unit and leg position would be the same.
On the bright side I have been talking about doing some variants of these with the sculptor and this figure is one of the obvious candidates for that. The downside is not sure when this might happen as I would like to get an idea of popularity of the range first.
Hope this helps.
Ooh, more variants of some of the other fellows would also be nice. It’s always preferable to be able to do a space opera or space western setting where at least some of the aliens are the same species, as opposed to every alien a different species. But I get what you’re saying about needing to gauge popularity first. For my own part, ordering from CP Models has been on my backlog for a long, long time.
I’ve not forgotten about the Alien Federation range. It’s my prospective core for a small Mass Effect-style project.
I agree on having several different aliens of a particular species, so you can build up a unit. Something to work on for both the above ranges I think. Glad we are on your radar so to speak and thanks for your interest. Mark
