Lot of that goes on with Traveller, lol!

Also remember: according to GDW “there is the Traveller setting and the Traveller rules, and the two often overlap.”  You really shouldn’t have to work up each weapon at every tech level, you’ll drive yourself mad mad mad!  In my mind a Zho TL12 ACR is the same as a 3I TL12 ACR.

(BTW, I’m just going to say I’m a heretic and really like a Small Ship MTU.  I justify this by saying there is a size/mass limit that can translate into jumpspace.  Sure, there can be battleships, but they are “monitor” types and non-jump capable…)
