From my understanding, the Hittites were a indigenous population of Anatolia with an imposed Indo-European ruling class?

Such a situation might well create all sorts of tensions between ethnic groups.. Indeed, I could place the new prince, without a command or purpose, on the gaming table, just watching for a slip up.

My lovely little Hittite army, like all my figures, is 1/72 – 20mm.

This gives you only two sources.  Caesar plastic figures include Hittites but also the Mitannian chariots & the Hebrews & Arab Bedouins. You need to be creative.

The metals are Newline.

The army has smashed the NKE twice (a bit of an “easy-beat” army) and narrowly defeated the Mycenaeans.

Fun Fact: the clearly non-PC NKE, referring to the Hittite’s beardless faces & long hair & stylish robes, rudely called them  “girly-boys” in various texts.
