I am lucky to have all 4 versions in my collection. Recently decided to read Epic 40k, which didn’t get much love if I remember correctly.  I think that was because it was more of a wargames rule set than typical Warhammer rules of the same time. No Herohammer! The models where very cool though! I do like the army cards from 2nd edition they were a fun way of collecting armies.
