74 yesterday and enough stuff ‘in progress’ to last a few more years yet. If I pop my clogs in the meantime, so be it. More worried about failing eyesight and arthritis stopping me finishing stuff. I’ve been retired for 15 plus years and still have things I want to have a go at. Like Mike I do more planning than buying these days, which I suppose is a recognition of mortality, but I do give in more often that may be considered sensible. I’m old (as my granddaughter keeps telling me) and can be excused a few mental filings.
