1/600 has interested me for WWII and modern, but I think for WWI they might be too fiddly? I have some Pico Armor (Oddzial Osmy) Wildcats and Buffalos, and they are so small I think I will have issues getting magnets on them. However, worth a look, thanks!

As for Blue Max, it has gone through a few different versions. I believe the one shown on my bog was the second.
