I love gladiator games but find them boring at the same time 🙂

I must have bought four or five boxed games (EM4 had great sets) and numerous figures and rule sets / pdfs over the years and often drifted back but their attraction soon fades. Earliest must have been the Minifigs 25s too many years ago to count and I still have a copy of the Paragon rules from the late ’70s or early ’80s IIRC…

Never managed to work out why as I enjoyed the detailed move by move skirmish some rules gave, loved the models (esp the Steve Barber ones) and spent hours planning who to train up or send to victory (I wish).

It’s just that I find the games unsatisfactory long term and do not know why !?!?!

Going by how popular this is – it must be me 🙂
