Thanks for the tips. I built my first tile with a dirt road. I will check on how to build 6mm haynstacks. You can check one of my last post. I have added a few pictures. I have a big table, about 1 meter by 1,90 meter. To begin, I would like to create maybe six tiles just to see how it goes and learn the rules. Eventually, I will build more tiles. I already got 20 in a package. I am trying new techniques and I learn at the same time.

Thanks. Yes, I need to let some unplanted areas. And the areas that will be planted must look more natural, plants not growing equally everywhere. On my first try, I used Woodland Scenics flocks. The yellowish color for the field didn’t look natural to me so I sanded all the board with sandpaper and started again. This rime, I have used Woodland Scenics static grasses. It’s not perfect but the yellowish grass look more natural than the flock of the same color. Maybe mixing a few colors of static grass would be better and also letting some bare ground a little bit everywhere. I will also have to paint the static grass to give a more natural color.

Thank you. I will look more on Satellite images. I have checked the link you provide and this will help me.

I think I will start this tile from scratch. There are too many things I don’t like.
