Foam terrain hexes, and lots of ’em! And actually it’s my kitchen, because I’m setting up my foam cutter on the glass stovetop to control the fumes with the kitchen vent. These boys are 1″ thick and I calculate their cost to me at about 27ยข per “slug.” I’m going to see about 1/2″ material as well, since the goal here is 3mm scale games of BattleTech, BattleForce, and Alpha Strike, for which 1″ will equal about two levels.
