O, the days when they WERE the Imperial Guard!
I liked the Imperial Army aesthetic from CA:BotA, but admit it’s not very “grimmdark”:
If Space Marines can’t kill something with a lazcanon or multimelta, they shouldn’t be there to begin with, ha! (I remember a time when the Land Raider was the most devastating thing on the battlefield!)
I’m sure you can get little buzzsaw decals, no? I don’t think I have seen anyone paint up that chapter since the 90’s, same for the Blood Drinkers or Silver Skulls.
