Quatre Bras is among my favorites.  It is a smallish battle for the Napoleonic Wars making it easy to achieve a full setup and represent each brigade on the battlefield.  At this scale (one brigade is one unit), you can fight the entire battle in an afternoon.  It is true that the the French have to “win” early or be forced back by the continuous stream of Allied reinforcements.  It makes you realize how well Ney actually did.  It’s pretty hard to achieve even his results.  And, if you are British, you get to play the Duke of Wellington as he arrives on the field on turn 2!  It’s a fun battle that is easy to setup.
