A couple that spring to mind South Africa/Angola Border wars called  Bush Wars, The Malaysian and Burma emergencies if you want some jungle action post WWII rifts between Britain and dominions. The Chindit operations, great material for research available small scale hit and run. Mesopotamia pre WWII (Iraq) effectively, Bomber Harris learned much that he was to use later on during WWII, plenty of material available on this and Afghanistan around the same period.
