Brilliant stuff on that Link all right! You won’t hardly realise there’s hexes on the table!

I know I’ve mentioned before about my longing to game Napoleonics but between the expense and time I really didn’t see it working at this stage of my life. Like you I’ve been looking at C&C for some time and decided recently it was an affordable way to play without painting up two huge armies…

Funny thing is Jack when I played the game I immediately thought it would be a game you’d appreciate. It’s simple, relatively quick to play and seems to allow for combined troop type attacks. There’s the fog of war represented with the limited options of orders represented by order cards. But still enough to make a plan. I’m sure there’s many an expert ready to point out a the lack of realism in comparison to other rule sets but certainly for me it has enough believability to justify playing. I honestly think you’d like it. I’ll post for kind of AAR as soon as I can 🙂
