Shouldn’t think so Hafen, BLB 2 has many fans and should still give you a good game.  If you wish to incorporate the changes in version 3 you should be able to by checking out JJ’s reference above and the comments under BLB 3 on the League of Augsburg site.

Once I have played a game I’ll report back here with a detailed AAR and troop ratings etc which also might help.
