Bit of an update on what I’ve been doing. I’ve been converting a number of models for my RDF. But first up, is the first batch of mechs.

Mecha Front Corporation security mechs. A privately owned Corp that provide security in mainly city and built up areas. The sprawling urban areas providing the idea environment for mechs to operate.

Two light Raptor class mechs with quick speed and powerful sensor equipment. Topped with their Hyperstealth technology make them an ideal choice for scouting and providing forward reconnaissance. The Alpha configuration carries a mix of missiles and close range machine guns.  While the Gamma configuration carries 2 light railguns.

Slightly heavier than the Raptors. The Goshawk mechs carry very similar load outs. The Alpha configuration carries a set of four auto cannons. While the  Beta configuration carries a set of missiles and machine guns and the Gamma configuration. Carries a set of missiles and a light railgun. Not only do the Goshawks use the same Hyperstealth tech as the Raptors. They also use a more powerful electric armour to repel incoming fire. In fact, so effective is this armour the only damage received in over 20 engagements. Is Goshawk Gamma having a replacement leg. Still in it’s red/brown primer coating. It has not yet received the converted gold paint of the Goshawks.

R.O.M.A (remote operated mining appliance) nicknamed “Fatboy”. Is a heavy duty mining robot designed by the Cerberus Corporation for deep mining activities on Mars. The colossal machine is capable of operating in the most demanding sandstorms and can with stand just about anything the Martian weather can throw at it. Operated from a safe distance, the controllers can sit in safely from their Jackal command and control vehicle. Also the group consists of a Jackal Jr in support. Similar to the Control vehicle, the Jackal Jr is smaller and provides in field maintenance support.

However, this is no ordinary mining machine. Cerberus has realised its battle potential. They removed its nearside mining apparatus and replaced it with a heavy duty, triple barrel GMG. Now capable of repelling any unwanted attention to their operations.
