Captioned as Singapore 1941.

Captioned as ‘Singapore 1941’. Colour photos of the Malayan campaign are as rare as hens teeth! As a bonus there’s a Morris quad with markings and a bit of a 4.5″ howitzer too. More here, Life tended to use colour film (Kodachrome) rather than colourised black and white film.. http://photo.cankaoxiaoxi.com/mil/2015/0324/716242.shtml

A There are a couple of options if you want a British, as opposed to ‘generic’ motorcycle. Battlefront make (or made, they’re OOP) a Norton Motorcycle/sidecar combination in their BEF range, suitable for the period. You can leave the sidecar off too. Some retailers still have stock https://www.miniaturemarket.com/fow-br400.html

The other option is the Airborne Assault squad in their British paratroop range. They ride Royal Enfield Flying Flea motorcycles, although the figures need modification. https://www.flamesofwar.com/hobby.aspx?art_id=3932
