Ah and about the 9, this:

It says the 9ème escadre was dissolved in 1946, created again from 1950, active in Indochina (with P 63 at first and later F8F-1B and F6F).
At Lahr Husgweier from 1954 (with F 84 E/G and T 33, and two NC 701) then at Metz from 1956 (with F 84 F). Dissolved 1965, other units took the tradition and part of the name, etc.
