Those Russians really got chewed up didn’t they. Your small gaming space interests me as that is my preferred sort of size. Does it not feel weird having men on a ground scale that much smaller?
One of the traditional ground scales for 6mm/1:300 WW2 gaming was 1cm = 10m (because it was in the WRG sets). So most gamers get used to it, especially if you want to fight armour/anti-tank heavy actions with a company or battalion on the table.
