There’s a few hobbies like drawing that takes minimal investiment.

I share a lot of other hobbies mentioned above, but the one I haven’t seen mentioned yet is lock picking. I don’t do it often, but I do when I can. Nowhere near as successful as you see in movies but I like the challenge. The great thing is one quality padlock can last a long time and I can go back, pick it a month later and it’ll be jsut as difficult. It also came in useful a few times.
