Well, conceptually, it works. Some careful work with a rigid razor saw worked beautifully, and I’m now looking at a model in progress of the U.S.S. Cunningham, a DDF or Destroyer, Fusion-Powered, part of the American contribution to the ENSPUN Atlantic Reaction Force.
Starmada is a definite possibility rules-wise – it has conversions for “wet” naval actions. Strike Legion is also possible but probably more of a stretch.
