You could consider man-portable ATGMs a form of tank-destroyer, or, say, TOW missiles on an IFV or LAV. Actual anti-tank guns or assault guns are not likely to see combat again, though, as cheap missiles have largely rendered them obsolete. But it’s hard to say what might revive them – miniaturized battlefield railguns for example? Like the ones the US Navy is looking to mount in its upgraded destroyers?
