I understand that Mr. Picky is probably not in the target audience for this game, but cannot refrain from pointing out that “Foxtrot” and “Alpha” (correctly spelt “Alfa”) are from the current NATO phonetic alphabet, based on the 1956 ICAO alphabet. In 1944 the US (and British Commonwealth) would have used the Able, Baker, Charlie, Dog alphabet, and the Wehrmacht Anton, Bertha, Caesar, Dora. What’s more, while US infantry companies were designated by letters, the Germans used numbers.
