Jensch and Doyle have a section on the BuflaK in their Panzertracts on the 88mm FlaK18/35/36. I’m not aware of a specific book just on the weapon though. They were attached to PzD, but I don’t remember which offhand. (1 & 7 as well as 2?) GD itself was attached to 1PzD.
There were 2 batteries, each (probably) of 9, although a couple might have been kept as spares. There are some good quality photographs in various publications on the net. Paint was the 2/3 gray, 1/3 dark brown EW scheme with minimal markings, just registration plates. Presumably they then got repainted plain gray before use in the East in 1941.
