I’m sure there’s a rivet or two out of place…..just kidding. It’s a winner.

Dunno how many rivets you expect in a welded and cast tank, but the paint job is certainly a beauty.

Mr. Picky is a bit worried that the unusual kit-retention flanges on the rear deck and the Crusader-pattern rear turret stowage box mean it pretty much must belong to 3 CLY in Sicily, in which case blotchy cam and red-and-white stripes would be appropriate. Does anyone have any photographic evidence of other regiments using these rear-deck flanges? Or 3 CLY using this plain scheme?
