There’s nothing so spectacular as a Marlboroughian game in glorious 25/28!

In the back of my mind there’s some sort of connection between Beneath the Lilly Banners and Clarence Henderson’s Victory Without Quarter. Am I confused here? What are the differences? (Besides the slightly later time period.)
