I converted some Tumbling Dice gunboats into a range of sidewheel steamers, tinclads and rams a while back, mainly using the ASV 59 CSS General Price casting as a starting point. Here’s the first three painted up in a generic grey scheme.
More pictures and painting to come on the blog.
Nicely done, as always. That terrain really shows the models to good effect.
Never wrestle with a pig. You both get muddy and the pig just likes it.
Trust science, not the scientists.
It’s quite easy to chop up and convert this model. The double ender is a good example as it’s just a cut and shut. The guns are either from Brigade Models or Tumbling Dice fort guns.
And the funnels are just panel pins.. a bit overscale but better than the original ones
