    82mm mortars from Zvezda and Maxims from Italeri:

    I do like the Zvezda boxes of kit with their harder plastic for detailing, though here, the Maxims are not shy in that regard.

    Many thanks folks.

    In this case the Zvezda ones were used because the mortars in the Italeri set were not up to much.  Likewise not sufficient command figures so Zvezda will make another appearance as company command.

    Nice touch in the Italeri though having female radio ops as the women played such a significant part in the operations of the Red Army.
