Also nicely done.
I must agree with DSG regarding Dark Elf ‘home’ terrain – mostly because I have no idea how it should look, and I know you’ll do a great job, sorry, forgot you live in Brizzle, proper job!
One who puts on his armour should not boast like one who takes it off.

Resistance is futile – you will be assimilated…

Hmm, I sense… MISSION CREEP!
I look forward to seeing the magnificent city that will rise up behind those walls.
The time of the Orc has come.
13/09/2022 at 15:11 #177932Angel BarracksModeratorHmm, I sense… MISSION CREEP!
That is my worst enemy.
Everything could be done by now had I just done the basics…16/09/2022 at 15:04 #178120Angel BarracksModerator17/09/2022 at 17:45 #178171Angel BarracksModerator17/09/2022 at 21:41 #178173ian pillayParticipantMike, the website is brilliant, love the map of The Auld Ryding. Reminds me of those Zelda maps from the 90’s. Cool beans!

Time & energy less, but stress also less.
Having said that I am in the process of doing a mini campaign with a low figure count to help maybe get some actual gaming in.
12/10/2022 at 14:51 #178996Darkest Star GamesParticipantThat is a tough spot to be in my friend. I do hope getting a game or 3 in will help!

I have been trying to put together a small undead army and was hoping to finish it before now.I went for Undead as they will be quicker to paint and even more so with a contrast paint.
Here are some quick shots of where I am.
The archers are contrast bone, and this was very quick, do like.
You can see in the middle unit some contrast and some conventional painted models mixing it up.

Yes.
It is the Faule Becker.
It is a derogatory name the crew have given it based off the name of the armies chief artillerist, the Graf Becker.03/04/2023 at 19:36 #184697Angel BarracksModerator03/04/2023 at 20:51 #184699Darkest Star GamesParticipantNo pictures? You tease!

03/04/2023 at 21:08 #184701MikeKeymasterIt’s weird, I feel a bit guilty as I know many people have no space, and here I am with a whole room just for playing games in, on the flip side I have seen some peoples games rooms and they are so awesome mine feels rubbish.
Having said that, and knowing how very very lucky I am to have a games room at all, and that it is not all that amazing, I will do some images in the morning…04/04/2023 at 10:57 #184730Angel BarracksModerator04/04/2023 at 12:34 #184735Guy FarrishParticipantV Cool!
And so neat!
Happy gaming.
04/04/2023 at 14:29 #184748Darkest Star GamesParticipantNow we’re talkin’!
Natural light, plenty of shelving AND a fancy chair. Nice! You could also use the Red Sonja cloth as a battle matt for AoS type games in other planes of reality (insert joke about hills and valleys).
I wish my game room could be as tidy. Even when first set up brand new it looked a frightful mess and has only become more “characterful”.

04/04/2023 at 18:44 #184761Angel BarracksModeratorThanks both, it is neat now as I have not used it.
I am replacing that fleece with another one.
I just need something to cover the grass surface from dumb ass cats. That will return to the living room once the new one arrives..
Just ordered some hooks to hang my weapons and some storage trays to tidy the shelves..
Then I can get overwhelmed with what to paint first and do nothing for 6 months 😀

I connect waaaay too much to the truth in that one sentence.
