Hi all,
I’ve just completed the final battalion for the British forces that fought at Casa de Salinas in 1809.

The 1/45th were a veteran Peninsular battalion by the time they arrived at Talavera and would go on to serve through the Peninsular War to its end in 1814. They got their nickname, “The Old Stubborns” at the battle and when you look at their performance you can see why.
