Who, in your opinion, still produces the best variety of poses of 15mm Ancient Spanish?

    Thanks.

Offhand, I’d suggest Forged in Battle.  I’ve got a fair bit of their stuff, and the occasional figure is a trifle small, but overall they are very good.  Great variety of poses in most packs.

The website shows all the contents of the packs, so that’s also a good thing.  They come in 24 foot, but that includes command.

Yeah, Forged in Battle are good.  Also check out QRF, they have excellent Spanish figures with loads of different poses.  Both are compatible with each other and Essex.

All three will work on the same bases.

I reckon the Xyston range is hard to beat:

I really like the Corvus Belli Spanish too, some have been rereleased now as part of PSC Ultracast Pacto Carthaginian army:

Are the Xyston figures compatible with the Forged in Battle ones in size?

    Thanks.

Possibly not… FiB tend to be on teh small size, Xyston on the large size, and they are rather different styles too.

You might sneak the odd Xyston geezer in there as a bit of a “hero”, or use them for a different tribe, but a full mix is iffy.

Forged in Battle and Corvus Belli.

    They mix well

Check out my Punic Wars collection on  my  blog.

Since I painted this collection I have rebased almost all of it to fit my new basing/gaming system

Those look amazing!  I really like those Libyans too.  Thanks so much for the link.
