Anyone else tried this system?
Me and a friend gave one of the scenarios a spin at the weekend.
Sadly forgot to take any photos.
We were doing loads wrong, so didn’t get a full feel of how the game worked, but have scheduled a re-run to iron out those errors we made.
Just interested if anyone else has a take on them, can’t find much about them online.

I’ve got, but haven’t played 1914. However, we’ve played the similar systems Iron Cross and Seven Days to the Rhine. I rather liked the latter system. Perhaps not terribly “realistic” but it was a fun club game.
I have them but haven’t played them yet due to my gaming chum not being around due to working from home at present. Some parts I can’t quite get my head around, but I too couldn’t find any online support. Normally I would expect the GEG forum to have a sub-section for them but last time I checked they didn’t. Maybe the rules just didn’t sell well enough to warrant one?

Maybe, I had mine sitting for a while before getting them on the table.
Like you, I was surprised by the lack of support or discussion online.

… Some parts I can’t quite get my head around, …
Let me know what we might be able to puzzle it out together.
We had morale wrong, were applying it to each stand instead of by unit.

You have probably seen this already but there is an errata and FAQ sheet for the rules: 1914 Errata and FAQ It’s available from the downloads section https://www.greatescapegames.co.uk/1914-downloads
Thanks for this as I haven’t seen this before. Looks like it clarifies some of the questions we had before Covid put pay to FtF gaming.
I must give this a proper look. Have downloaded but not read through.
