Will 2LT Hendry and the men of 5th Platoon break German resistance in La Cambe?
Oh wow that was thoroughly bloody! I feel bad for both that US platoon and the tankers.
I’m rather surprised that flamethrower wasn’t more effective. Lucky for the Germans it didn’t stick around long. All that fighting and all the wounded Germans end up recovering, that’s gotta sting the US pride in marksmanship a little!
"I saw this in a cartoon once, but I'm pretty sure I can do it..."
Yeah it was carnage. It was only because I ended up rolling so many fives and had so many chain of command points that I could avoid the bad things happen rolls. That said I might ned to look at how to move jump off points forward instead!
The flamethrower wasn’t that effective. it struggled up the board and by the time it got to where it needed to be, US force morale was falling apart. It only got off one shot before everything collapsed.
