ParticipantI made a pair of buildings for my 3mm battles:
Originally concieved as a lab complex, it might just be big enough to qualify as a hive-style city.
A gigantic hospital block. Slightly smaller than the previous structure, it’s still a beast in scale!
The CSA and OC forces got some reinforcements to bring them into line with my designed unit sizes for Laserstorm:
The CSA reinforcement.
And the OC’s new recruits.
On the 6mm front I’ve only finished two sets of scenery items:
The barbed-wire fences made by our own AB!
These are the tracks for the mag-lev train AB recently sent me.
I naturally have some train cars as well, but they are not finished just yet. I do have a WiP pic for you though:
Two drivers cars along with one each of the passenger and the recently unveiled freight car. The photo have distorted the colors a bit, and the cars are more red than pink IRL.
Lastly we have the Secure Outpost, also from AB. I think I’ll paint it up to match the brigade buildings I already have..
A few more pics are on the blog:

Thanks for looking!

ModeratorI do like that top complex, very effective!
Would be bias to say I love the 6mil but you know!
π(BTW do you know the rocket pods are facing backwards in that shot?)
Looking forward to seeing your train.

ParticipantVery nice! I also repurpose lids and caps of every sort as three millimeter sci-fi buildings. They work very well in that respect.
We get slapped around, but we have a good time!

ModeratorI can see them on this log on and this browser too.
Chrome and IE work for me.Oh and I have not forgotten the 3mm terrain!

ParticipantThat’s mighty strange, works for me as long as I don’t use IE.. I’ll see if I can fix the links for you Mr Average andΒ Count Belisarius! Meanwhile you can follow the link to the blog (it’s in my sig as well as OP), all the pics should show up ok there!
Thanks AB, I didn’t notice the ML was the wrong way around, thanks for the heads up π
Train will be done in a few days hopefully!
I was just about to ask about the 3mm terrain; any news?
@Thaddeus: Trash is a lifesaver when building 6mm/3mm bits and bobs. On a different note, your’s and Mr Average’s 3mm Ogre inspired me to convert a BOLO-style cybertank or two of my own that I hope to show everybody soon!

ParticipantI can’t see them I have a blogspot account and I am using Safari on a Mac.
I think it is a trick …… you know that thing that is just beyond your reach becomes more desirable

Participant@Tim: I have used pics sourced from my google photos account and never had a problem before, but I’ll start uploading from the blog directly and hope it solves the problem! π
I’ll try re-posting the images again, with new and shiny links from the blog rather than my google photos account this time I hope it works for everybody this time around!
@editor mike; is there a way to edit your own posts after a few days? I only ask since I couldn’t seem to find a way to do so rather than reposting the photos again..
Here we go again:
Please let me know if you have any trouble viewing these as well!
I’ve since finished up the train cars, photo evidence is being processed π

Cheers for re-posting

ParticipantMy WiP’s are now finished!
First we have the repulsor lift train:
The 2 running cars might get some decals at some point, but for now remain blank. Clarke and a USS MBT showed up to provide some scale comparison.
A slightly better focused pic, showing more of the running car.
But that’s not all, I did finish the Secure Outpost as well:
It will make a great local stronghold, especially now since I re-mounted the missile launcher the right way around!
There are a few more pics on the blog as well:

Thanks for checking it out!

Cheers AB, Clarke is a C-in-C Solar marine with a scratchbuilt helmet and cloak.
