My “Travel Battle” project continues slowly apace. Here’s about half of the French Army, based for Black Powder.

These figures are laser burned out of MDF. Made by Commission Figurines (http://www.commission-figurines.co.uk/6mm.html), they are quite clever and absolutely charming. They can easily be mixed with regular castings and, at arm’s length, you can’t tell the difference. They also 96 infantry figure per two Pounds, so very cheap as well!

Up close, they have a nice little “toy soldier” vibe which is perfect for my old school “Travel Battle” kit.

    Highly recommended figures!

We get slapped around, but we have a good time!

Looking good! I was very tempted by these when they first came out as a cheap (but effective) entry into Napoleonics, still not gotten around to it but one day maybe
