First units completed for a little Fantasy Skirmish project I am working on in 6mm. Please see link to the blog. Nice to mix of different 6mm manufacturers

brilliant blog yiu gave and I love the 1-2-3 basing solution, it makes the Dan Mersey games more accessible to smaller scales.

1-2-3 basing? I’m not familiar with the system of DR. Is it like 1 for command, 2 for special, 3 for grunts?

Thanks for the comments.
1-2-3 basing is simply a way to organize a unit of skirmishing miniatures to simplify figure removal and is not part of the DR system. For example with a unit with 6 models based as 1-2-3, If you loose one miniature take away the 1-base (6-1=5 left), if you loose another one take away the 2-base and put back the 1-base (5-2+1=4 left). It is relatively straightforward and makes it easier to play, especially in 6mm. I “stole” the idea from Dalauppror’s fine page of wargaming stuff, see more here http://dalauppror.blogspot.co.uk/2015/11/123-basing.html, he uses it for most of his gaming (in 28mm!).26/06/2017 at 19:18 #65739Darkest Star GamesParticipant
