    hi all

i have started an adventure into 6mm fantasy miniatures, the pictures below show the first batch nearly finished. i would like to know your opinions on these tiny sculpts, the first releases will be small 6 adventurers and 7 orcs some rats and spiders, this is for skirmish and dungeon roaming games, i want to expand at a steady pace, to encompass entire armies so a very long project, i only started sculpting figures 3-4 weeks ago so am very new but have been sculpting scenics for around a year now,  hoping to greatly improve as the range progresses, i will be posting updates here regularly so keep an eye out first release hopefully early quarter 2

    hope you like them .

I think they are really good, but then I am a bit bias about all things 6mm.
But the warboss and shaman are extra nice, especially given these are among your first sculpts.

Shame the warboss is a lefty!

    😉

Oh and yes please keep this topic updated!

    Looks good to me.

I will look forward to more, particularly on the massed fantasy armies, with particular interest. The individuals that you have shown us might well have their uses for HotT heroes and magicians etc., as well as for skirmish and dungeon games.

As a matter of interest, how do you think that you will be basing your massed army troops?  Will it be individually, on 2 cm strips like Baccus, or on variable length strips like Irregular Miniatures?

I’m looking into strips of 4 but at the moment it will be individual, but will see

These are very nice. How do they compare size-wise with your farmer figure?

    #37555

They are the same size right in between Adler and baccus size almost exactly the same size as microworld orcs wich are great by the way.

The Orcs are looking great, I’ve just started sculpting 6mm Fantasy myself, starting with Dark Dwarves because big hats.

You are doing a excellent job at sculpting, working at 6mm is a hell of a lot harder than it looks.

Here is a barbarian model I have been working on for skirmish and dungeon crawl games, he has been a struggle to be honest but I’m finally happy enough to share a pic, I also have Martin baker sculpting some more adventurers for me so will be a complete set on release

Excellent, and just the “right” size compared to the barbarian, in my opinion!
