ParticipantThose are looking really good. I wish I had based mine on pennies instead of wooden bases. They feel too small. I can’t wait to have more than two factions available either.

Participantthanks guys, I like pennies as they add a bit of weight to the mini and they’re cheaper than MDF
still need to properly base this lot but am still undecided as regards colour/texture

Participantyes, my board is green, but I want to make/buy a desert like board, but I also want to use the minis on a space hulk type board too so not sure which way to go or whether to just leave them as is

ParticipantMine are based with brown dry brushed with sand. It won’t match all my terrain, but it seems okay to me.

Participantheh, heh, I like the giant flower of death, would be great for something like Rogue Planet where you can get attacked by the terrain to.
What rules will you be using?

ModeratorCool beans.
I think the old fella is CinC?17/05/2016 at 09:45 #42069Northern Monkey
ParticipantIm using AB’s KR16 with my own forces/factions which are in an earlier blog post.
And yes the old fella is from CinC’s sci-fi civilian pack though he’s hardly sci-fi and with the right paint job would work for numerous era’s.
you can pick up GW Tyranid spores and other gribblies fairly cheap on e-bay and they work well for both 6mm and 15mm sci fi stuff
