    Made some more fields for 6mm Sengoku. Can never have enough fields. These ones have some farmers in… Pretty basic construction, 10cm squares of mdf with glue and sand. Another layer of glue and sand to build up the banks then long and short static grass put on with an applicator. Just push the long grass edges to vertical before letting the glue dry. The long grass is given a dry brush of yellow. The people are plastic railway model figures, they’re actually 1/200 with the feet cut off, which says something about scale creep with 6mm figures. You can recover the body proportions in the painting.

    These fields were inspired by the opening scene in last year’s Taiga drama, Kirin ga Kuru. Screenshot:

    Wow, really nicely done sir!  I still sit in awe of your static grass abilities, I can never get mine to be that lush and even looking.  I will have try your plate applicator versus the standard old applicator method.
