I am doing a bit of research into a Vietnam project and I thought the comparison of the various manufacturers might be of interest to other gamers, so here is is.

If there are any manufacturers I have missed out, I would love to hear about them!

Nice little comparison. I agree H&R would sell bucket loads more  if they had photos of all their ranges.

Irregular look a little blobby compared to the micro armour figures.

Not sure of any other manufacturers that do ‘nam in 6 mm or even in 10mm….

Your numbers for Irregular Minis are ‘off’, for 88p you get 3 bases of 3, so 9 figures, giving a price of 10p each (9.7p for the rivet fans).

Thanks very much Gaz, I will amend forthwith.  I had thought that referred to the number of models on the base (which is also 3)…

    Now amended.

Pendraken have an Indo-China range and a Vietnam range in 10mm plus stuff in other ranges that would  fit in. Boats to buffalo and lots in between!

You might also note that Irregular’s price includes postage – which makes them even cheaper.

A good point, which I have added in.

You can go the other direction for 3mm to Oddzial Osmy as well.

Always useful to see comparisons like this – thanks for posting – and doing the Math(s) !

Don’t forget the old Mainforce line of mostly prone figures, available from Magister Militum in the UK – a good option for modern periods  – a nice Vietnam range there – the VC are nicely modelled:

They come in packs, or also as individual bases at £0.40 each….
