    Picts

I’ve refurbished my old Steve Shaw 15mm Picts and written an Army list so I can use them for Comitatus games.  The Army List is informed guesswork (like all Pict lists) but it might be of use for those gaming with Comitatus.

The figures continue to delight me even though most of them are over 30 years old.

I supplemented the Steve Shaw figures with some new ones from QRF.  They fit together nicely

If you’re Pict inclined the whole array is on my blog at

15mm checks, plaids and tartans…that’s a job for someone with better eyes than mine!

I can see why they delight you, I found myself smiling; there’s something nostalgic about them, which I’m unable to pin down.

    Thanks for showing them off.

Thanks Geoff, the new spec’s helped a lot.

Steve Shaw was a bit of a pioneer, natural proportions and lots of variations in each pack.  He based his Picts on the Pict Stone carvings and so they look slightly stylised.
