ParticipantA 6mm solo sci-fi scenario for you. Written for Hellfire, it would work with other rules and I know people who use Hellfire for 15mm.
It can be the prequel to a solo campaign if you want.

ParticipantLooks interesting, thanks for doing that.ย Added to the list of scenarios to get around to!

On the bright side, it also acts as a prequel to a solo campaign which will keep you out of mischief for a while ๐

ParticipantSo, I was just adding this to my Christmas wish list (very thoughtful of you to bring it out during the holiday season Jim) and was nosing around your other works, in case I missed something of interest.
I did notice that Hellfire is on sale for half price.ย I’ve got the original edition believe it or not, so never bothered picking up the newer one.ย Is the newest a straight reprint, or have there been a few additions or revisions?

ParticipantWhere is Hellfire on sale at half price! I’m panicking here
The electronic versions are ยฃ4 (pdf and Kindle) and the paperback version is ยฃ9.50Amazon does sometimes play fast and loose, telling people to ‘Save ยฃ4.50’ by which they just mean buy the kindle version
All that’s really changed is there are no pictures (they weren’t mine) and whilst it’s not a straight reprint, there are few changes. There’s a little bit about drones but less than half a page, a couple of bits of tidying up, more grammar and spelling and obviously the wrong word being used.
There’s an extra scenario at the end, a campaign.
But frankly, I always tell people with the original rules to encourage friends to buy a copy, and to then read theirs ๐

ParticipantWell, according to Amazon Canada it seems to be half off.

ParticipantThat appears to be something entirely due to Amazon Canada, and they haven’ t bothered mentioning these little details to anybody so irrelevant as the author
This might answer the question why
It certainly wasn’t because sales were booming in Canada, as in the last 90 days I’ve sold five books in Canada, two kindle, three print, and none of them were Hellfire.
I suspect they might be clearing a couple of copies out of the warehouse?
Or it’s just algorithms playing games nobody understands? But for Canadians looking to buy, now is their chance ๐

ParticipantWell, none of those sales in the last 90 days were from me I’m afraid as you haven’t released anything new in that time frame.ย But I shall mention the Hellfire deal to the club on Sunday, as a couple of players rather liked the Hellfire games I put on a year or two ago.
There will however, be at least one sale in Canada for your new campaign book, that I can assure you!
PS – interesting article about Amazon’s pricing.

ParticipantYes Amazon pricing is a thing of wonder, and incredibly opaque
But if you do get friends in Canada to buy Hellfire, you get to read the new bit free ๐
