A very Successful Combat Air Patrol

F-16 is by far the DCS jet I’m least bad at, still very much an amateur after several years as I keep jumping from one aircraft to another. I made a “mission” to test the new data link features. Two 2 ship F-16 flights doing a CAP along the Syrian Coast.

I made several random enemy spawn ins. So I didn’t know exactly what was gonna happen. Turns out this time a total of 11 enemies spawned in. I had set it up so the first two groups should spawn in after 5 minutes and the other after 10. So we had the chance to deal with the first two groups before the next two groups showed up.

But our AWACS apparently didn’t pick up the first two groups until the the second two groups spawned in. So it got a little hectic. Very fun when you kinda know what you are doing.

11 enemies shot down(granted most where not really a big threat except in large numbers) I bagged 2 MiG29s and 2 MiG-21s. with my 4 Amraams. So happy about that.
