Beyond the excuse to get some toys on the table, I used this scenario to tackle some terrain issues (town/ruins, stream, and craters) as well as field a fair chunk of armor ( for an infantry-centric game = Chain of Command).
A first run can be seen at http://brawlfactory.net/2021/07/27/26-july-44/ . I intend to have another go (most likely this coming weekend).

Great looking table – and enjoyable write up! Look forward to hearing if the second play through goes the same way!

Seems a pretty clear victory despite the burning Sherman. I too am interested in how the 2nd run through goes. Those ruins are really cool, I love the debris.

The second try is in process. I’m posting photos off-and-on as the game is being played.
Same link as above ( http://brawlfactory.net/2021/07/27/26-july-44/%20. ) – you’ll have to scroll down past the first game to get to it.
Someday I may have enough time to model/game and will have some to spare to figure out the whole website/posting thing…but probably not. ; )
