Thanks, these are all replacements for the ones currently unavailable.

That stone foundation really kicks it up a notch, very nice sir!

Sorry for the slight digression, and trip into the recent past, but where does one go to acquire a huge bag of MDF bricks?

I asked Leon at Pendraken nicely, he may well still have the dimensions and what not to hand that I provided.
Got to be worth an ask.

Looking good. Different style for the render?

So it is the same material as used on the newer buildings:

This was different to the original early period ones that these are replacing:

However whilst it is the same stuff as the newer ones, I did a lot more sanding and layers to make it less bumpy.

Does that make sense, answer the question?

It does, thank you. Also, the difference is more subtle than I seemed to perceive at first.

Liking the new buildings, they have a lot of character.

I like the house with the stone foundation, a step up in engineering and sign of wealth. Maybe the houses could gradually incorporate more stone and arch next time you replace them.

    Tired is enough.

That sounds like the Late Period to me.

A look at Simurgh in the Middle Period.

    Eydis talks with Crom Ogun

Ali Durust takes delivery of his new stock

Erland talks with an old friend
    (she is not that old)

    Spices and exotic fruits
(No Haga for slayers such as you though)

    Slaves go about their work

    A procession of religious cultists?

A boy about to get in trouble for throwing rocks at goats

The high priest of Apis watches

    Lovely looking town Michael.

It looks prosperous enough for a bunch of bandits to ride through and sack the place.

Outstanding work in every way. It’s a little hard to pick what I love best, but I think I’d have to pick those beautifully painted carpets in the third photo. How do you DO that?

    Thank you for the inspiration!

    Very impressive, nicely painted.
I like the way you smudged the edges of the first photo, makes it seems like sand scattered on table.

    Tired is enough.

Simurgh is coming nicely since it wasn’t long ago it was nothing more than a flea market in the middle of nowhere. Now that Erland has eradicated the bandit threat. No chance of slavery being abolished yet then?

Is it me or is that a pair of feet?

I knew that Durust is a dodgy character. Has anyone gone missing in Simurgh lately?

You’ve spotted Michaels little joke err plot point.

The carpets are a lot of fun to paint up but do require a steady hand to do justice to them!

Wow, I go away for a little while and what was once a sleepy little hamlet is now a bustling town.

    Cool Much!!!

Is it just me or does anybody else think the colored bands on the houses makes it look a bit like there’s different neigborhoods.

    Cheers,

    Stroezie.

I really like the colors to add a bit of spiff, just fantastic.  And not overdone.  Really works for me!

Test cast of the Hyenas are here, and they are all good.

The casters will be making a mould of them soon…

Nice. I’m thinking that once I’ve bought some I’ll paint mine as “unnatural” hyenas, with glowing eyes or something. In games, they’ll be supernaturally powerful. Zombie-like constitution, the ability to jump from ground level to rooftops, the stalking skills of a xenomorph, that sort of thing. Helps set them apart as I’ve already got wolves from elsewhere.

Thoae birds are really nice, very nice details on the feathers.

First thing on my mind was also “they look tasty”.

I have some old Diatryma and Phorusrhacos mini’s from by ‘unknown’ that I picked up years ago in shallow end of 28mm – still giagantic at 15mm, but they are nowhere near as nice as the Gandowana!

They’ll have to do until yours become available 😉

Those are some cool looking birds!

Any chance of a sculpt with a saddle on it in the future?

There’s a real lack of fantasy mounts imo.

    Cheers,

    Stroezie.
